Belong to China CNR Corporation Limited, Xi’an Railway Transportation and Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in 1938 of which the original name was Xi’an Rolling Stock Works and attached to Chinese Ministry of Railway. So far, the

company has become a large state-owned enterprise with the initiative in designing and manufacturing railway tank car in domestic market and that kind enterprise serving for freight wagon manufacture and repair, passenger car repair and production of freight car parts and fittings. It enjoys good prestige and reputation both in domestic and international markets.
    By introducing technologies and independently innovating, we are putting up a first-class production line of railway tank car, gondola, flat cars, hopper cars and tank container. We’ve already formed a tank car production system, involving the fields of petroleum, chemical industry, building materials, grain and cooking oil, aerospace etc., in which included a complete range of 48 types of tank cars that classified into 4 tank car series: pressure, non-pressure, powder service and special tank cars. And we’ve got qualification of designing and producing national-level C1 pressure vessel for railway tank car, national-level C3 pressure vessel for tank container and permission of manufacturing level A2 pressure vessel. At present in China, 90% tank cars running on the railway were designed and manufactured by our company.
